The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools for pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years so that they can support these pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. From September 2012 schools have been required to publish information about how they have used their Pupil Premium allocation. At Hackbridge we have carefully spent and monitored this funding and ensured that there is a whole school focus on continuing to close the gap in attainment and achievement. Information on our funding can be viewed in the document below.
Pupil Premium funding for 2017/18 is £187,440 (with an estimate of an additional £1,800 for Early Years Pupil Premium) and will continue our focus on closing the gap in attainment and achievement.
The government have provided a PE and Sports grant for Primary Schools to improve the attainment and participation of all pupils. The documents listed below provide you with details of how we have spent this grant and the impact that it has had.
The funding allocation for 2017/18 academic year will be approximately £20,840 (confirmation will be provided in October 2017) which is being used to work with the Sutton Schools Sports Partnership and also to provide extra curricular clubs for our children and a specialist Teaching Assistant.
