At Hackbridge Primary School our purpose is to provide a caring learning environment with high standards and expectations, where children grow into responsible, resilient, independent learners.

Kindness

• Each of us is special and unique

• We expect our children to have respect for the people and environment around them so that they become caring and sensitive members of the community showing respect and tolerance towards all others

Inspiration

• We encourage our children to believe in themselves and that they are capable of achieving amazing things

• Our children are the future and we strive to create and sustain a happy environment in which they can all experience a love and passion for learning where it is both interesting and fun

Nurture

• We provide a safe and secure environment for our children and develop meaningful links with families and the local community

• We believe every child should be given equal opportunities regardless of learning needs, disability, religion, gender, culture or social background

• We encourage our children to make the right choices, to think for themselves, to try hard and never give up

• We aim to help our pupils to develop self-confidence and self-esteem
